Technical Support

​Charlotte has provided technical support at country and global level on a wide range of issues including Maternal and Newborn Health, Respectful Maternity Care, Family Planning, Integration of HIV and SRH, Primary Health Care, bringing expertise, operational experience, empirical evidence into the development of policy, research and programming. 
  • Implementation research: improves understanding of real-life issues around health policy, programming, systems, and practices. Charlotte has decades of experience in designing and conducting implementation research in SSA and Southern Asia using a range of methods.
  • Guideline development: Expertise in synthesizing evidence and best practices to support development of guidelines, clinical protocols and job aides at both country and global level.
  • Facilitator: Co-creation workshops, skills building and clinical updates.
  • Knowledge management: Promote use of evidence to influence policy and strengthen programs and develop products to improve systems. Co-authored 100 papers in peer review journals, developed policy and research briefs, guest editor on 4 special issues (2017/2021).
  • Proposal writing and coordination: Successful in winning research grants from range of donors, (USAID, Foundations, UN partners).
