Background
Charlotte Warren, PhD, has over 25 years of international public health experience, primarily in East and Southern Africa, with additional work in West Africa and Southeast Asia. For 21 years she has served as a Principal Investigator for the Population Council [hyperlink], in Kenya for 12 years, then in Washington, DC, for 6 years, now based in Devon, UK.
Dr Warren’s early work focused on the delivery of primary health care (PHC) in fragile and humanitarian settings including in Angola, Kosovo, Mozambique, Nicaragua, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, and Sudan.
Extensive experience in managing collaborative programmes with bilateral donors, UN organisations, Ministries of Health, academic institutions, professional associations, and international/national NGOs.
